Carpenter wanted on Rottnest Island!

Are you an experienced Carpenter seeking an opportunity to cruise to work daily for a scenic backdrop of crystal waters and tropical sands. Rottnest Island are seeking a talented tradie to join their team!

About the role:

Work alongside a small, close-knit team, adventuring to a variety of tasks, with no two days being the same. Assisting the team with day-to-day tasks repairing, maintaining, and servicing buildings and properties on the island.

This role is Monday – Friday and some weekends when required, departing from Fremantle or Hillary's at 7am or 7.30am on a payrate of $49.34 per hour (inclusive of 25% casual loading) with shift penalties applicable on the weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Provide carpentry services to facilities and operations
• General property maintenance
• Plastering, painting and concreting
• Collaborate with the team's day-today duties.

Requirements:

• Certificate III in Carpentry or Equivalent
• Valid Driver’s Licence
• Proven experience as a carpenter
• Willing to provide own tools
• White Construction Card - Essential
• EWP, Forklift, Working and Heights & HR licence is highly desirable
• Rights to work within Australia
